Is On Your Bike really easy to get to from across Cheshire?
Yes. We’re in Thelwall, which sits right at the M6 / M56 / M62 interchange. From the south of Cheshire (Chester, Crewe, Nantwich) you take the M56 north. From the east (Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Knutsford) you take the M56 west. From the west (Ellesmere Port) it’s the M56 east. Most of Cheshire is within 45 minutes.
How much does CBT cost in Cheshire?
CBT at On Your Bike costs from £225. That includes everything — use of a training motorcycle, all safety briefings, and your DL196 certificate on the day you pass. There are no hidden extras.
Do I need my own motorcycle for CBT?
No. We provide a suitable training motorcycle for your CBT. You just need to turn up in suitable clothing: sturdy ankle boots, gloves, and warm, layered clothing. We’ll advise you on everything else beforehand.
Can I do a full motorcycle licence from Cheshire without years on a restricted bike?
Yes — if you’re 24 or over. Our Direct Access Scheme (DAS) takes you straight from CBT to a full, unrestricted Category A licence in around 3–5 days of training. No years on L-plates, no restricted engines.
