It’s a central location that puts us within easy reach of a huge swathe of the North West — from Liverpool and Manchester in either direction, south into Cheshire, and north through Warrington to Wigan and St Helens.

Our closest riders walk — we’re right in Thelwall village. But we regularly train riders from Liverpool, Manchester, Wigan, Ellesmere Port and everywhere in between. The furthest areas are around 25–30 miles away and 30–35 minutes by car. Most of our riders are within 20 miles and 25 minutes. How far is too far to travel for a CBT?
Most of our riders are within 20 miles and 25 minutes. Our furthest regular catchment areas — Liverpool, Manchester and Ellesmere Port — are around 25–30 miles away and 30–35 minutes by car, and riders make that journey regularly without a second thought. The CBT certificate is valid for two years and opens up riding on any road except motorways, so even if you’re travelling 30 minutes to us, you’re making that journey once. After that, your bike takes you wherever you need to go. If you’re not sure whether you’re within practical range, just check our available dates or give us a call — we’ll tell you straight.

What’s included in the CBT price — do I need to bring anything?
The one-day CBT is £225 and everything is included — we provide the motorcycle, helmet and jacket. You don’t need to own any gear or have any prior experience. You do need to bring your valid UK driving licence or provisional licence (with the motorcycle category), and wear suitable clothing: sturdy trousers, ankle-covering footwear, and gloves if you have them (we can advise on this when you book). That’s it. No hidden extras, no hire charges on top. Just show up ready to ride and we’ll take it from there.
